Go To: http://www.dosbox.com > Downloads Tab > Click the Windows version (Under the Dosbox category).

Finally: With the Dosbox Options file open scroll to the bottom. We are going to place some text below [autoexec]:
mount c c:\games\wolf
c:

Save and exit the config file when you are finished.
Now Lets Extract the Wolf Game File:
First: Right click on the Wolf game file you saved to your hard drive and click on "Extract All".

Then: Click the "Next" button when the extractor launches. You will be asked where you would like to extract the Wolf files, select "C:\Games\Wolf" . When you're done click "Next" again and the files will begin to extract.

After you install DOSbox 73 or whatever... It goes to your downloads... When I go to click on it and look for C:\Games\Wolf it just installs again, and again, and again. I dont know whats wrong. Can you help me please?
Hi you just need to type in C:\Games\Wolf and you should be all set. You won't be able to find it because it hasn't been created by the installer until you type the folder path in. That's normal for it to go to downloads on newer versions of Windows.
Best,
Glenn
I've tried to install this game many, many times, the problem is im missing the config file in my DOSbox, so i did what it says to type in write config (etc) but the file doesnt come up like its supposed to, also when i type in save to Games\Wolf, that files doesnt exist for me, and when i go to find the file its saved somewhere else instead.
I have a windows vista which is rather fast.
How do you get the config file? I did what it said but it didn't pop up why?
Ok, I'm having a lot of trouble. I've tried everything you suggested. And yet, when I open up DOSbox (even though I've put in the autorun code you gave, nothing pops up) and when I try putting in "mount d d:\games\wolf" it says "Drive D is already mounted with local directory "d:\games\wolf" but the game doesn't come up. I'm using Vista, but I'm also choosing Run as Administrator from the menu. The DOSbox version I have is version 0.74
Hi Emily, the command should be mount c c:\games\wolf not mount d d:\games\wolf.
Best,
Glenn
How do you save the game when you have played it?
Do I need a earlier version of a computer? I have windows 7 (2010 computer) to play wolf? Cuase when I ever I want to play it it says "the veersion of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check you computer's system information to see wether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, then contact the software publisher." What do I do? Is there any way to play wolf on a 2010 computer? And by the way I don't have internet right now so I'm using a phone.
It's not working for me either. I followed all the steps, but I get an error message about the game whenever I run DOS. I guess it doesn't work with Windows 7. Too bad.
When I click a link that says "Download game" I expect it to link me to the download. Also the instructions were no help because despite doing them twice and already having downloaded DosBox and WOLF previously, the game still won't work.
So i've written C:\Games\Wolf in, and then i found the file and opened the Wolf file. But in there, there should be a Doxbox file, right? It's just not there. There is that brown doxbox thing, but not the other white one. I dont know what i did wrong.
Hey, i'm stuck- I do not have a dos config file or whatever to open up.
Finally: With the dosbox config file open scroll to the bottom. We are going to place some text below [autoexec]:
mount c c:\games\wolf
c:
wolf
Save and exit the config file when you are finished.
^What?^ I just opened it, scrolled down, then saved... After that, I don't have a Wolf_Dos file to extract files from... I've downloaded this frikin' thing like 30 times and I keep getting stuck on this part!!!
when i try to open the conf. file, i can't open it with notepad, the only option is to open it without notepad, and it won't open without notepad since the publisher is unknown, can you help me pls?
i have Windows XP professional
