First Download the Free Mortal Kombat Game:
Choose from one of the following sites.
Abandonia : Download Game : Download Instructions
XTC Abandonware : Download Game : Download InstructionsThe House of Games : Download Game : Download InstructionsNext Download & Install the Emulator Dosbox:
Go To: http://www.dosbox.com > Downloads Tab > Click the Windows version (Under the Dosbox category)
Next: Run the downloaded installer file and install Dosbox on your hard drive in the directory C:\Games\MKombat. Simply entering this will create these folders for you.
Next: Open the Games folder then the MKombat folder within it. Locate and then run Dosbox by double clicking on the Dosbox program icon.
Next: At the the command prompt in Dosbox type "config -writeconf dosbox.conf" and then press the "Enter" key.
Next: Type "exit" to exit Dosbox.
Now: Locate and right click on the Dosbox config file. Click "open with" & select notepad.
Finally: With the dosbox config file open scroll to the bottom. We are going to place some text below [autoexec]:
mount c c:\games\mkombat
c:
mk
Save and exit the config file when you are finished.
Now Lets Extract The Mortal Kombat Free Game Download:
First: Right click on the Mortal Kombat game file you downloaded to your hard drive and click on "Extract All".
Then: Click the "Next" button when the extractor launches. You will be asked where you would like to extract the Mortal Kombat game files, select "C:\Games\MKombat" . When you're done click "Next" again and the files will begin to extract.
Finish Him!:
Double click on the Dosbox program in the "C:\Games\MKombat" folder and the game Mortal Kombat will launch, enjoy!

There is no Shang Tzung rounds, the game turns off and it says on the screen emp.gra corrupted. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem, please!

i" ve done every thing but at the end says ILLEGAL COMMAND : mk ......................................................................Wath can i do :((((((((((((((((((

When it says illegal command is this in Dosbox itself? Is the C: drive mounting correctly?

How do you switch the action keys around? I can't do anything cuz the actions keys on my comp are all over place and I'd like to adjust that..

im getting the emp.gra thing too, im using dosbox 7.3 i dont understand why its doing that. i mean fuck, i wanna kick shang tsungs ass
never mind, i downloaded a different one from a torrent this time and it works
Go to Program Files.
Get into DosBox folder.
Find "DOSBox 0.74 Options" and edit it using notepad(move to the end of file).
And paste the code as shown in image below.
mount c c:\
c:
cd mk2
mk2.exe
where mk2 is the gaming folder stored in c drive and mk2.exe is the executable file for that game.
