First Download Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego:
Choose from one of the following sites.
XTC Abandonware : Download : Download Instructions
The House of Games : Download : Download InstructionsAbandonia : Download : Download InstructionsMr Old Games : Download : Download InstructionsNext Download & Install the Emulator Dosbox on Windows:
Go To: http://www.dosbox.com > Downloads Tab > Click the Windows version (Under the Dosbox category)
Next: Run the downloaded installer file and install Dosbox on your hard drive in the directory C:\Games\Carmentime. Simply entering this will create these folders for you.
Next: Open the Games folder then the Carmentime folder within it. Locate and right click on the Dosbox config file. Click "open with" & select notepad.
Finally: With the dosbox config file open scroll to the bottom. We are going to place some text below [autoexec]:
mount c c:\games\carmentime
c:
cd witics
carmen
Save and exit the config file when you are finished.
Now Lets Extract The Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego Game File:
First: Right click on the game file you saved to your hard drive and click on "Extract All".
Then: Click the "Next" button when the extractor launches. You will be asked where you would like to save the extracted files, select "C:\Games\Carmentime" . When you're done click "Next" again and the files will begin to extract.
Back to the Future:
Double click on the Dosbox program in the "C:\Games\Carmentime" folder and the game Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego will launch, have fun!

Hey...I followe everything you told me about to download and play carmen san diego...but when i came to the end and tried to double click on the dosbox program in the folder it told me that it was unable to change to :witics
Hi Mohammed, it sounds like Dosbox is trying to find the witics folder within the games\carmentime folder and it's not there. I would try installing the game zip file again and make sure it's installed in c:\games\carmentime . You may have installed it in the wrong folder by accident. Let me know if this helps.

Thank you ever so much for having this game and for walking me through the download/installation. It works on my computer! Some of the greatest childhood memories for me and my younger sister are from playing this game together.
