please ignore my previous comment, and instead, help with this: when i download the game, it for some reason doesnt get saved as a compressed file, instead it insists on being opened by vlc media player...

Hi claire is this when you try to open the file? You can use a free zip program from download.com if you are having issues with Windows default zip program.

I was wondering, before I download this one, does it have the sound? Or was that only the CD-ROM version? It would be awesome if you could reply to me as soon as possible. Thanks ;]

It looks like the floppy disk version. I don't know if there was a CD-Rom edition, at least initially, because it was released back in 1990.

Hi it sounds like the files might have extracted incorrectly or in the wrong folder. Check to see if loom.exe is in c:\games\loom .

It's better if you use ScummVM. It's made especially for old Lucas games. Hope it helps.
