I love you... this and sid meier's colonization were the pimpin' shit for me when I was growing up.

Now that I'm grown up, colonization still kicks my butt, that's a HARD game, lol.

Thanks for this guide, when I tried to run ascendancy a couple of days ago it corrupted my core windows files and I had to reformat everything. =)

Thank you so much for this, I thought I would never be able to play this game anymore on vista...
One question though: is it possible to run it fullscreen?

Hello, and thanks for this guide! I tried it out, and after finding a zip for Ascend on old-games.com, I extracted everything (29 zip files inside the zip file?), ran DOSBox, and after "cd ascend~1" DOSBox says "unable to change to ascend~1". Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

hi, i tried using ascendancy with d-fend reloaded. but when loading, dosbox merely opens (start screen) and then shuts down without any notice. anybody has any idea why this might be? wondering whetehr there is a problem with the file structure? should one unzip all the sub-files in one directory or keep the strange 29-subfolder structure intact? thanks!
