Now: Locate and right click on the Dosbox config file. Click "open with" & select notepad.

After That: Click on "Moonstone - A Hard Days Knight" in the game search results column.
Next: On the page that follows click on the "Get It!" button.

Finally: Click on the "Get It" button on following page and wait for your browser to give you the option to download and save the Moonstone game file. If you head back over to the Moonstone page on Abandonia there should be a manual for the game on it.

Hey man I followed all your directions but when I launch the game it says illegal command: ms.
Any tips?
Hello! This game looks really interesting so I thought I'd pick it up, lol. I have the DOSBox downloaded but when I try to save the command in the config file, it says it cannot create the file...I have tried typing it different ways but no go. What am I doing wrong??
if you get the 'ms error' you just need to move your Moonstone folder to the C drive - no other folders, just straight c drive
Hi
I did what you said (downloads and mods...) but when I launch dosbox it doesn't run the game, just usual dosbox.
If i go into the MS folder and lauch moonstone directly, the game starts but without sound.
Sorry to bother you but I ask for help, I'm shivering waiting to replay that awesome game !!
This is so brilliant :)
I have one problem though: I can't play a friend because only one set of keyboard controls will work at a time. Either he can move or I can, not both. Is there any way around this?
Also, in the intro sequence, is PC speaker quality sound the only option or is there something I can change to get that drum roll and crash of thunder that I enjoyed on the old Amiga 500+ (remember those!)
does dosbox support the amiga sound track for the game? or do i need a separate rom and emulator all together? seems like the latter is logical.. Also what sound system does Moonstone for DOS originally use? Midi? or tandy?
